I am thinking about budgeting for some new floors in the main part of my house. Does anyone know what is the best kind of flooring to have with a big dog? I am looking to make changes in the spring maybe.I would like to not have carpet next summer. I have a few ideas, but I would like some input if you have it. Thanks.

I vote tile.....but I dont have much experience with anything else.
You should call Chad...I bed he'd have some good advice.
I say dont replace the flooring untill you dont have a dog. They will have the same ruining effect on any flooring. So wait untill you are ready to move or no longer have dogs.
Ask Chad...he will probably have some good advice!
I think tile has to be better than carpet with dogs. I would not have pergo though. Tile would be better.
