A few more of the sights and sounds of Indy

Here are some more of the pictures from our great time in Indianapolis. We will always remember the fun things we did and the great time we had just being together there.

Brooklyn and Macey showed us their magnificent skills in soccer.

Just one of the many scenes in the intense Corn Hole tournement on Chantilly Lane.
Here we are giving the great beast a tip. He gets his tips in the form of nose patting.
Saying goodbye to the carriage that took us all around the circle center.
The center of circle center, a HUGE Civil War memorial. Someday when we are there in the daytime, we will go up to the observation deck at the top. It is very impressive. That is Rob and Megan on the steps.

4 GENERATIONS

Grandpa Daly is in the hospital yet again. This time for another bout with "kidney stones of unusual size". We were lucky enough to get this picture of 4 generations of Daly men. What a motley crew. Be sure to keep grandpa in your prayers. The surgery is this afternoon.

Congrats is in order!

I just wanted to let everyone know about Rob's promotion. I am so very proud of him. He has been working really hard and has been trying again and again for every manager position that has become available. Last week he had another interview and was up against 7 others for their final interviews. Rob had been preparing more than ever, he talked to every manager he could and had a blessing just before the interview. WELL... He obviously ROCKED it. B/C they told him yesterday he had been promoted and he needed to get on it. So he is already hard at work trying to turn his new team around. It feels a little unreal that he got it, what an accomplishment.
Congrats Babe, I love you. :)

Great news...

YES!!! Lennie just got the results of his PET/CT scan from last week....absolutely NO UPTAKE!! Which means he is still totally and completely CANCER FREE!! I am grateful that Heavenly Father continues to bless us as he has throughout this entire process. This month marks 3 years since his original diagnosis...I cannot believe how far we have come. Thank you all for your support and prayers on our behalf.

Watching practice at Indy

Halia did not mind the noise.

Just trying to get a better look at those drivers.

Not too interested in the races, but that grass was awesome and it was a gorgeous day.

Ahhh, this was the best ride all day long. When you ar tired, you are tired.
These are just a few of the pictures from our fun day at the Indy race track. It was really a lot of fun and we actually had a car crash right in front of where we were sitting. Man, they go fast!!

A Blessing and A Baptism

Just an FYI for anyone who wants to (or can) make plans to come...

Kaden is getting baptized on Saturday, August 29th and we are planning to bless our new baby on Sunday August 30th. It will be a packed weekend but we are looking forward to it! :) We hope some of you will be able to make it. Everyone is welcome to stay in our home, let us know if you might be able to come!

Oh, give me a home where the buffalo roam.....

....and the deer and the antelope play. (I think that song was actually written about that part of the country.) We did actually see all of the above and turkey, prairie dogs, Mountain goats, elk, bald eagles and pheasant to name a few.

Here are just a few of the pic's from our trip to bring Elder Daly home and visit some of the people and places in his mission. We had a great time and saw some incredible country.

One of the couples Kevin wanted to see works at Cabelas, so here we are in front of the humongous buffalo.

This was on the standing rock reservation. The day before it was 91 degrees. This day, it never got above 40 and it snowed almost all day. We loved it.

Devils tower in Wyoming. Wait, was that a close encounter? I'm still trying to figure out which kind. ;0

The welcome home committee. Thanks for the signs Shannon

and the Leis Jaba and thanks everyone for all of the food and visiting at the house later.
Anyway, WELCOME HOME KEVIN we love you!

Sadie and Christi in Indy/Kentcky....

Sadie and I had a FABULOUS time visiting with the Moores!! James is going to make one AWESOME dentist. I was SO happy I could help out by being his board patient. It was a once in a lifetime experience that I am honored to have been a part of. I really enjoyed it (REALLY).

We at at some fabulous places, and had some WONDERFUL laughs. Because I was in boards much of the time, I did not get as many pictures as I usually do, but I didnt leave completely empty handed. These are some pics of us at the Falls of the Ohio State park. The kids had a BALL! They searched for fossils on the banks of the river and then explored the lush green wooded areas around there too. We all got a little sunburned that day, it was GORGEOUS!! I have a little video of the kids too....I'll have to get that uploaded as well.

I'll be a little jealous when much of the family is there for graduation next week, but I am SOOOOOOOOOO glad Sadie and I were able to visit them in Indy before they head out for thier next adventure.....who knows where that will be????!!!
