Summer fun with grand children.

It is always fun to spend time with the grand kids in the summer. The Starks had a sleepover and when the long awaited day finally arrived, Grandma had some fun things planned for them. One of the activities was finger painting. I couldn't find any regular finger paints (cheap enough), only the "non messy" kind. What fun is that? So I decided that we would finger paint with pudding. Well, it was messy and yummy too. We even added a few sprinkles.

On another day, Isaiah decided he wanted to make something in the kitchen.

Then he wanted to see how it felt to wear the "Elizabethan" collar that belonged to Gary, Nancy's dog.

Grand kids are fun and we sure miss the ones who are far away. Can't wait to see you all.

Introducing The Next Red Green!

Well we went up to the Rim near Bear Canyon Lake to scout the elk area for the guys hunt. We had such a great time. I did not get very many pictures. It was me and Bruce and Kevin and Bob. Rob and Megan and Brigger came up and also Shannon and Donald. We had for chocolate labs in the camp. They were too funny. We hiked down to the lake and let the dogs play in the water. What a competitive bunch. I even took a swim. The water felt great.
Can you say "I'm a guy, and I can change, if I have to."
When Megan put this outfit on Brigger, I just had to laugh. He was so cute and if the colors had been red and green, he could have a new career as the baby on the Red Green Show.

Fourth of July parade in Eager

The parade in Eager was fun. A little hot, but fun. Kevin, Isaiah and Koko waiting for the next float.

Isaiah really liked the police motorcyle.

We sat with the Finchers and Donna and Dean just across the street from the Dairy Queen. After the parade we went out to the Mcbrides and we got to meet Amanda and Wes' baby. He sure is a cutie. Then we drove home and were able to go to the swim/bbq/fireworks at the Hunns. I haven't seen that pool that full of little ones in a very long time. It was good to see so many there.

"Boys Camp" at Greens Peak with the Finchers

Earlier in the month when Lois was getting ready to go to girls camp, Isaiah would ask "Where you goin' Grandma", Lois told him she was giong to girls camp and that he couldn't go because he was a boy. He then told Lois that she would have to take him to "boys" camp. So when we had the opportunity to go up to Greens Peak for the 4th of July we told Isaiah that it would be boys camp. Well when we got there, The Finchers were there with Aaron. And those two boys sure did have a fun time at "Boys Camp". I think they played with every stick and rock in the forest. They hiked and hunted and played with the dog. We will have to make boys camp an annual tradition. (Only I think Isaiah would let us include girls too)

Aaron and Isaiah were having the time of their lives.

Aunt Belva handing out the booty bags. They were going on a pine cone hunt.

Isaiah loved the fire but he hated the smoke.

A fallen tree trunk makes a great drum.

I loved the brances on this huge Ponderosa pine.

The Indian Paintbrushes were gorgeous.

The group from the top of greens Peak. We found lots of treasures on that mountain.

Isaiah was ready for bed but Aaron insisted on an encore of one of his dances before beddy bye. Aunt Belva helped with the costume by making the headdress. What great campfire programs he put on.
