Susan went to the hospital yesterday with another gall bladder attack....this one had lasted for 3 days. Sure enough, they admitted her and took her to surgery last night. They were able to do the surgery laprascopically (no big incision) and planned to send her home today (Halloween). However, her bloodwork today showed that her liver enzymes were still elevated, so they are worried that there may be a stone stuck in a duct somewhere....either the liver or the pancreas. I guess her gall bladder was FULL of stones, and they said it was a good thing it came out....she was headed for a really nasty infection. Baby is looking great, by the way, she heard the heartbeat the morning after surgery.
If her liver enzymes don't start coming down by tomorrow, they may have to take her back in for another surgery and look for that stone. She really doesnt want to do it again, but she knows the doctors will do what is best for her and the baby.
Please keep her and Jaba and their family in your thoughts and prayers. We'll keep updating as we know more.

Donuts on a string :)
This is hilarious. The boys were trying to race to eat the donuts off the string at our Halloween Party. The rule was no hands. Here are 2 little determined and honest boys trying to eat and not use their hands ! :)

Koko, and the new Flagpole....
This is Kevins new dog, Koko, We think she is a pretty nice dog. She loves to run and get the toy that we throw. And she goes for a long walk with me every morning. She loves to swim at the river. She wants to meet all the grand kids. She is about 14 months old so she still chews some but not to bad if we keep her worn out with excersize.

Sending Love From Queen Creek
Hey Everybody!
We are excited we finally got included on the fun!!! LOL. J.k Christy. Our Email accounts at work wouldn't except the blog invite, but we have it all figured out now. :D It's fun seeing the pics of the Gustins on here. Rob and I probably say EVERYDAY... I miss the Gustins!! we love you guys and it's good to see that you guys are doing good in Seattle! We want to see pics of the other oh-so-far-away-family, the Moores too!
So, we are doing just Fabulous, the house is still getting in order. sad but true, it seems like it will take forever for everything to find its place. Maybe it is taking so long b/c Pan (the new puppy) is always making a mess, she loves finding random things, tearing them up into a million little pieces and somehow get them EVERYWHERE! We LOVE her... NOT! j/k we do love her(well, I have to convince rob to love her but I know deep down, way deep, he loves her;D) we just don't like her sometimes. ha ha.
we are always busy with work and rob is busy with school and i'm always doing hair or doing something for the house. Rob has had a very hard time concentrating lately due to vacations coming up :D we're heading up to 6 flags this weekend with stevo and ali, next weekend we are going to the dunes with mom and dad, steve and ali and whoever else will grace us with their presence, we would love whoever can come to go! We will be visiting my family for thanksgiving in Utah, sorry everyone, we still love you oh so much. We also are planning a trip to Oaxaca, We will be there Dec. 28th- Jan 5. Anyone that wants to come is invited, we are going to have a blast (as long as i don't get sick from the food- Rob says I'll be fine, wish me luck.)
well I just wanted to let everyone know what's going on. hopefully we will see all of you soon! :D
Lots of XOxoxoXoXXOOxxoXOxO,

Hi Family,
We are excited to share and check on everyone this way! (We still like phone calls and visits too.) :) We had a little bit of an eventful week this week. Kaden woke up on Thursday morning with the right side of his face completely swollen. We took him to the pediatrician and he said it was either a sinus infection or a tooth absess. We later figured out that he did have a tooth absess. So now we are treating him and going to the dentist this week. It was fun to have him home with us for 2 extra days this week. We are glad the swelling has gone down and he looks more like himself again. We all went to Stacie's Halloween party last night. It was fun to wear our costumes and play games and look at all the spooky decorations. The kids hit a pinata, dug for money in straw, and ate tons of sweets! :) Bryton and Kolton have improved so much at Soccer. They were timid to get after it at first. Bryton told me after the first game," Mom, I don't even like soccer! Did you know that someone is always trying to not let me get my goal!" He was shocked! Now they are getting it and are having fun with it. At their last game Bryton got away with the ball and ran all the way down the field with it to the goal. And Kolton was an awesome goalie and kept several balls from making it in. It is fun to watch them grow. They are also just starting to read and loving it. They try to sound out everything. Brody FINALLY said goodbye to his binki! Yeah for Brody! He has so much to say all the time! I just got called as his Nursery teacher. So we are both excited about that. Tallie is a big girl now. She just learned to do the stairs! Yeah, what a relief! She is at such a fun age right now, I love it! Todd is working now and we have some deals in the works that we hope are close to actually closing. We miss everyone like crazy! We are glad to hear from you or read about you or see your pics. We are looking forward to seeing Nancy next weekend and Shannon sometime soon. Anybody else wanna come??? We love you guys, have a great week!
Love,
The Gustins

What's up with us.....
Well, many of you probably know some of this, so you can disregard if so ;O)
This past week has been crazy and busy. First it was October Break....and then this week the kids have had short school days because it is the end of the grading period, and parent teacher conferences are this week too. I went to ours on Monday, and both boys are improving in school and are well liked by their teachers. Sadie is in preschool and LOVES every minute of it. If I ever have to pick her up early, or she misses a day, she is in tears over it.
Sadie went to the dentist this week and has several cavities that need attention. They are all in between her teeth...her mouth is just so little, and her teeth are squished in there tightly. She is not worried about having the work done....she LOVES the dentist (for now anyway).
I started my clinical hours at the hospital this week for the RN Refresher course I am taking. I have done 2 days so far, and it is VERY interesting. Part of me really likes being there, and the other part of me is SO HAPPY I have not had to be there for the last 8 years. I am so glad that Mom, Susan, Lennie, and other family members are able to change their schedules to help out with the kids while I am in school/working for the next 6-7 weeks.
Over Fall Break, I went to girls camp with our ward. It was a lot of fun, and the weather was LOVELY!! We went to Heber and stayed in a cabin-y building owned by a member of our bishopric. It was in the 40's at night, and I slept out under the stars while nearly everyone else slept inside.
Lennie is getting ready to go Elk hunting next weekend. He is growing a beard for the occasion! Wish him luck, we could really use the LEAN meat!!
That's about it! We love you guys!

Thank you
Thank you Christi and Coleen for getting this going. I think this is going to be great. I will have to have some help in learning how to make full use of it but if it helps us keep in better touch with pictures and things since some of us are so far away I am all for it.
