I would totally put this on the FMX page but everytime I have tried to join, it does not work. I guess I am retarded. I do check it though and wish I could comment on everyones great accomplishments. I would have been training already if it weren't for the condition that I have been in. (ps. check out that floating baby's # today... woot woot!) I hope after I recover a bit I can be as cool as all of you (and get robs iPod buying butt outside- he bought an ipod to train and has used it for that purpose twice, sorry honey, I still love you!)
Okay enough about us slackers! I wanted to post about this because it is such a good cause. This week our Bishop sent out an email asking us to fast for this family on feb. 1st. I will just post what he says... "Many of you may know the Bailey twins from the Desert Hills ward. They are 2-year-old conjoined twins, Emma and Taylor, who share a heart. Specifically, we are hoping that the fast will provide the family with additional strength as they move forward with decisions on separation, heart transplants, and other issues that they are facing. We would also ask that ward members remember the family in prayers that are offered during meetings this Sunday." If anyone wants to join the fast that would be so good for their family... BUT also on Valentines day they are having their first fundraising event that involves MARATHONS. I know some of you are all about those marathons lately and this is one of the best causes I have ever heard of. They also have other stuff that would be so much fun for the kids, so even if you aren't into a run, still check out the site. check out their website at www.twosistersoneheart.com
Sorry this post was so long... love you all!
Love, Megan

Hiking with Honey...
Last Saturday was a great day for a hike. Donald, Shannon, Molly, and me all had a great time. The desert is beautiful. There is lots of water at the top of the canyon. What we did not realize was that poor Honey has very tender feet and that is a very rocky trail. We ended up helping Honey out as best we could. As you can see, we employed several different methods of carrying. We love you Honey and hope your feet continue to heal quickly.

Another "FIRST" for 2009....
On Monday night for family night we had a FHE about Money.....spending it, saving it, budgeting it, etc. As part of that, we wanted to get the kids started with their first savings accounts (and it counts for Jon's scouts too!!). So today after school, I took them down to the bank and they each got thier own savings account. It was kind of fun, and they feel all "grown-up" about it too. I only had my phone with me for pics, so this is all I was able to get....

Graduation is around the corner...
Hi everyone...James' graduation is just around the corner, so I thought we'd give some info about it incase anyone want to come. It is Saturday, May 9. I am not sure about how many people can go to the actual ceremony...we are finding out about that. Susie and Jaba already said they are coming and would like to stay with us. That kind of maxes our our 800 square feet, but we would be happy to get hotel info for everybody! James will be in AZ from March 17-24 to do business and hopefully make some good contacts and come up with a practice! WOW!!! It is so crazy. Love you. We'll let you know more info as we get it!

Proof that Bruce did actually get into the ice skates. He did get on the ice and then off again. we all had so much fun. Thanks for taking some really great pictures Bruce.

Holiday Magic at Disneyland....
This was our first time at Disneyland when it was COLD. We usually go in the summer or fall....and it is always hot. I LOVED being there in the cold. It was kind of rainy both days....or more drizzly, misty, foggy....whatever it was it was AWESOME! It must have kept some people away, because I did not think it was terribly crowded. Nancy came with us and Lennie's dad came too. It was SUPER fun, and we really cannot wait to go back. We even got EVEYRONE....yes even all the kids.....on Tower of Terror!! That will probably never happen again, lol, so it was quite impresive! Here are some pics from our Wintery Disney Trip.....

Christmas Joys...
Christmas day started out opening presents at our house...and the rest of the day was spent at Mom and Dad's....another WONDERFUL time!! We ate (and we ate WELL!!), exchanged gifts, and played played played. All the while we were missing our out-of-town families terribly. We really look forward to being all together again for the holidays soon!!
At one point in the day, Uncle Rob went outside and fired up Braden's dirtbike, which was still up at the house from the dunes trip I guess. Jon heard it, and next think you know, he was zipping around the yard and down the road!! He took to it FAST....even though he'd never ridden one before. He loves it, and I think we are in for much more dirt bike ridding in our future!!
and PS - I didn't know he was riding until I was called outside to watch...I promptly got him a HELMET (after I snapped the photos of course)!!
We hope all our friends and family had wonderful holidays and a happy new year!!!

While Grandma and Grandpa were here...

Brody and Tallie ended up being sick the whole time, so we couldn't do a lot of what we had planned. But the kids still loved every minute with their grandparents. While I stayed home with the sick ones, they got to go ice skating and they had so much fun. All Kaden's heelie - ing paid off for him and he was a natural. Dad even got on a pair of skates and decided to take them off 1/4 of the way around the rink. :) Thanks Dad for taking the pictures. Mom and I tried to go running, but it was so snowy that it really didn't work. We did maybe a mile and came home, but it was fun to try it. They helped the boys do some puzzles that they got for Christmas and played games, read stories, and made memories. Thanks Mom and Dad for coming! When we dropped them off at the airport and drove away Bryton said, "I miss them already!"
