Last Saturday was a great day for a hike. Donald, Shannon, Molly, and me all had a great time. The desert is beautiful. There is lots of water at the top of the canyon. What we did not realize was that poor Honey has very tender feet and that is a very rocky trail. We ended up helping Honey out as best we could. As you can see, we employed several different methods of carrying. We love you Honey and hope your feet continue to heal quickly.

My poor baby and her sensitive feet. Take care of my niece. And Molly, I was surprised to see you in the pictures:) Soak up that beautiful warmth and bring it up here. One of my favorite things about AZ is hiking in the winter. Miss you love you wish I were there.

Memories!!!! We have lots of that trail! :) We looked just like that on the way out...except it was kids...over the shoulder...on our backs...in the front... and next time we'll try the t-shirt carry - that looks like a good one! :)
PS - Mom posted this, but it wasnt working so I helped her out and re-posted. :o)
Poor Honey was not OK. It was so sad. I will post the aftermath pics soon.
But hike was so fun for the first part! We all said we should do it every month... week.. day.
