Alright, I know that this may come as a suprise to some of you but my little houshold has just gained 122lbs. I adopted a new dog we believe that he is a cross between a Bernese Mountain Dog and a Greater Swiss Mountain Dog. That means he is BIG! These are pic I cound on the internet of what these two dogs look like. I dont have a camera so I dont have pictures of him. His name is Hank he just turned 3 and he is the greatest dog. I love him! Lily loves him too and she loves haveing someone to play with all day.

Its a White Christmas!

So we had our first snowfall! The kids LOVED it! They woke up at 6am on Sat morning begging to go outside and play in it. They have had such a fun time in it! Snowball fights, snowmen, sledding, they can't get enough. I have to make them come in when their cheeks are purple from the cold! :) Church was cancelled today and school is already cancelled tomorrow. The kids will be excited to get another play day in the snow. The temp hasn't gotten above about 22 degrees today and its been very windy. Brrrrrr!!! But it is kinda fun every now and then.

We are super excited to announce...

The expectation of our 6th child around August 1, 2009! We will have an ultrasound next week to make sure its not the 6th and 7th child! :) We will keep you all posted!

Snowflake Lane

In downtown Bellevue every night until Christmas they have a little street performance called Snow flake Lane. The kids loved the drummer boys and all the toy soldiers handing out suckers. There were ice princesses and rudolph and this polar bear. Then at the end it "snows". The kids were SO excited even though it wasn't real, they said it was fun to pretend! Maybe this weekend we will get the real thing!

Holiday Cheermiester

Just wanted to share our holiday spirit and tell everyone that we love you all. I love christmas time, the cold, the lights, the spirit, and family time. We hope everyone else is enjoying the season as well. :) I'm so proud of Rob, putting up the lights this year. with a step stool and staple gun, he made me a little nervous to watch at times. (that is marlee out front with the glowing eye. ) Speaking of nervous... What is with you people (dixie and stacie:) going over 40 weeks. This does not make an uncomfortable pregnant girl happy. just had to share!

One last random tidbit... Look who thinks he is king of the house!!!
Last night scooter got up from his "usual spot" to go to his other "usual night time spot" so I thought... He went and sat next to this chair and just stared at it. I had the feeling that this has been his new spot of comfort when we leave and take marlee. Sure enough, I come out this morning and there he was, all snuggly and warm on the couch. When I first found him, he gives me this look like, oh no! please lady, don't kill me like you do with that other dog! haha. He relaxed after I started laughing and got the camera out for a photo shoot. oh scooter! he is always about comfort. He asked for a fluffy bed from santa, lets hope for our couches sake, santa will oblige.

UGH

I would like every one to please read my post from December 6th. I worked SO hard on it.

That's what happens when you save a draft.

Christmas Lights at the Temple

Saturday night, Shannon organized a family trip to the temple grounds to see the Christmas lights. Shannon/Donald, Suzi/Jaba and Family, Rob/Megan, Steve/Ali, Mom, and Lennie/I and family were all able to be there. We missed everyone who couldnt be there. I was surprised it wasn't busier than it was that night.

I took pictures (*of course*), but I guess I need to practice my nighttime shooting more, because they are all pretty blurry. You still get the idea, LOL. It was a fun night, we even got to sit and listen to 2-5-9 sing. Havent heard them in years, they were still quite entertaining. Here are some shots from that night.

Our Big Baby

Just a picture so you can see how much you are missing! He has gotten so big! (He's fussing, but that's how he is most of the time!)

I've been bored...

Not really (SO busy with kiddos) but James was out of town this weekend, so I went to Goodwill. I found so many treasures!!! (Everything was 50 % off, too!) I got a little clipboard and turned it into that little board to motivate us to have scripture study and family prayer every day. It will at least make the kids bug us because they want to change the number every day. Yes..it is on zero, but at least we are working on it! (And all I spent was 25 cents for the clip board!) I also bought a little house picture frame (also a quarter and so adorable) and that one is going to be to keep track of FHE's in a row. Don't have it done yet. I have also done a few Christmas crafts with the kids. We don't have ANY money to spend so I had to be creative. I love the wreath (it's the kids' hand prints). I just used up some of my scrapbook stash!

It's THAT time of the year...

Hi Hello Family! It's that time of year again. And I don't mean Christmas, I mean the end of the year. I have 2 Buddy passes left that I do not need. And I would love for them to be put to use IF there is anyone out there who wants one. ???(extended family included) Now here's how I have decided to do it. First come first serve. You have to say "Shannon I definitely want that buddy pass." Then pay for it.
But before you do, you need to fully understand what a buddy pass is. The reason I have 2 left over is probably because they doubled in price since last year. Please remember that they are STAND BY tickets and you may not get on the first flight you try, or you may. There is a dress code it's casual~ no flip flops, no sweats, no swim suits. You can wear jeans, tennis shoes, sandals that are not flip flops, etc...
That might not work for some people, but for others... You would have a changeable ticket to fly anywhere US Airways flys for less than what it would cost to buy a confirmed ticket. If you need to go somewhere last minute it might come in handy. Or if you want to pre plan a trip, just plan in a little wiggle room with the flights. If you want one but you don't know where you want to go, you would buy it for say "Vegas" or somewhere close, then change it when you know where you want to go and pay the difference. Or if you know you want to go to France in April, pay for it and start planning! (you would have until the end of the year next year to use it.)

This is the domestic zone map and pricing. International is the same as Hawaii I think. The international market is a little nuts because of the taxes. If you want to know about a specific city just ask me and I'll find out the price for you. (i.e. Phoenix-France 503.68 round trip Taxes included )

Zone Fare*
***PRICES ARE ONE WAY before taxes***
1-1 $50
1-2 $60
1-3 $60
1-4 $60
1-5 $80

Two more things... you can buy it for someone else and put it in there name. But once it is paid for you CAN NOT change the name. Also kids can use them, too! If any of my sisters want to send there kids to come see me ;) I'll come get them :) Just a thought. Ha ha

OK I hope this is long enough for you all.

-Love Shannon-

Time Warp

I was supposed to do this a long time ago. It must have been like 4 months ago or something when mom had lost all this weight and we were joke about how skinny she was and she could probably fit into her wedding dress. She denied it so we made her try it on. It totally fit like a glove! Then we made Dad put his Sunday shirt on and (we were all laughing our heads off) they stood in front of the temple picture. It was so funny I guess you had to be there but the mood we were in was so silly. No one had their cameras and all I had was my cell phone so the pictures are not the best quality but this is the best we could do...
Yesterday
Today

The hair color has changed a little. Dad has a little less up top and a little more on his chin. They are still a beautiful couple. We love you mom and dad.

9 more...

Weeks! on thursday that is. We can hardly wait for baby. Well we can and we can't, if you know what I mean. I am a little nervous about this, we can't just put him back J/K, but we can't wait to meet him either. Here is a picture from saturday, the belly is getting big. My ribs feel like they are about to burst, along with my lungs, I'm afraid the only way for him to grow now, is out ( I mean, my stomach can not possibly get any higher in my throat, right? oh heartburn:() I hope everyone got a baby shower invite and is planning on coming this saturday. If you didn't get one and you are reading this... you should have gotten one. We only got two invites back, so hopefully everyone elses arrived safe and sound. Let me know if you did not get one and need the info. Can't wait to see all of you this weekend.
