Not really (SO busy with kiddos) but James was out of town this weekend, so I went to Goodwill. I found so many treasures!!! (Everything was 50 % off, too!) I got a little clipboard and turned it into that little board to motivate us to have scripture study and family prayer every day. It will at least make the kids bug us because they want to change the number every day. Yes..it is on zero, but at least we are working on it! (And all I spent was 25 cents for the clip board!) I also bought a little house picture frame (also a quarter and so adorable) and that one is going to be to keep track of FHE's in a row. Don't have it done yet. I have also done a few Christmas crafts with the kids. We don't have ANY money to spend so I had to be creative. I love the wreath (it's the kids' hand prints). I just used up some of my scrapbook stash!

Very cute! I can't put homemade kiddo crafts up yet. It would be funny if we did. we could do my handprints and robs and marlee and scooters. ha ha. how fun. Love you guys.
Okay can I say that I didn't even feel like decorating this year!! Maybe it's because I have a two year old that will destroy everything with his curiousity (sp?). I'm glad mom decided we needed to! The house looks great and it feels a lot like Christmas! Zayah has only had one accident with a glass orniment. Sorry grandma. Anyway your house looks cute. You have some great ideas! Miss you guys!!
I love kid crafts on the wall! They are the best kind (and cheapest). The clip board is super cute!! Once you have scriptures and prayer down into such a routine, you could use it for all kinds of motivating...days in a row that you made your bed, days in a row you picked up your toys, that you were kind to siblings...Cute idea!!!
Fun stuff....all of it. In fact, our ward has been looking for a project for January.....and I think I am going to suggest the "days-in-a-row" clipboard. It goes with the new year and resolutions and such!! Thanks for the great idea!!
I love you guys...you are so supportive. Miss you all so so so much! I love your ideas for the board Coleen, thanks. Christi, if you use the idea, show me how they turn out! Susie, do a handprint wreath with Zayah...he will love it! (And Megan, do one with Rob, he will love it, too! :))
...and our board is on "1" today!
You guys all make me proud.
You guys are just so creative!! Makes me wish I was a "Daly girl" and maybe I could come up with great ideas, too!!
