HAPPY BIRTHDAY NANCY....

Birthday Graphics

What fun things are you doing for your birthday?!

Daly Family Calendar....

Megan's post reminded me of something....

Nancy and I were talking the other day and she had been talking to Dixie (or Coleen?) about making a Daly Family Calendar.....like the the Quist/Johnson one, but for our family.

What does everyone think?? If everyone sends in 2 or 3 snapshots and a family photo (all of high resolution), Nancy and I will get it together ASAP. Then Megan (and the rest of us) will have everyone's birthday's and addresses in one place.

This will only work if everyone participates....so, I want to hear from EVERYONE on this....
Mom & Dad
Dixie
Stacie
Coleen
Susan
Shannon
Rob
Kevin (well, I guess he is exempt from responding to this, but we'll include pics of him anyhow, LOL!)

I was wondering if everyone could do me a favor and post your address and everyone in your families Birthday. i'm making a little book of info and that would be helpful! THANKS. Love you guys!

Lets BOUNCE!.....

A couple weekends ago, we surprised the kids (and ourselves) with a trampoline!!! We happened to find a great deal on craigslist, so it turned into an early b-day present for all our kids. They helped to set it up and everything. Now they want the Gustin and Moore cousins to come over and jump with them!!

Lenard's Happy Birthday!!.....

Thank you everyone who helped us celebrate Lenard's birthday yesterday. He really enjoyed all his gifts so much! He is now an 11 year old scout, and he even went on his first scout overnighter already! (2 days before his bday). Thanks again to everyone!!

Wedding Planning Woahs

We are trying desperately to set a date for our impending union. And here's the tough part... It has to be either June July August or Christmas time. Now I know you guys are gonna say to not worry about when to have it for anyone but myself but I want to plan it so that everyone can come. That is for myself. I love my family and I need them there. SO I need input. Dixie's family can only come if they have help and they were going to come in May but turns out James might be in school. So if they don't come Coleen's family may not come they may wait and come for the wedding. I have a place for everyone to stay. I am going to do everything I can to help Dixie's family here if they will let me and if they can. What I need to know is... Does anyone have any other unchangeable events preventing them from coming to my wedding in the months previously mentioned? Family reunions, other weddings, vacations, etc. And Does any one have any suggestions? I am thinking so far that mid July would be best. Dixie wont be so pregnant and no one will be in school. Flights will be cheap. It will be hot! But every thing's gonna be inside. OR Christmas time. When everyone will want to be together anyway. Flights are expensive. I may not have the vacation house. But you get more out of a trip.

Anyway maybe no one cares. And if that's the case then I will GET YOU!

I LOVE YOU ALL!

How fun would it be to all be together?

P.S. Stacy. Do not think that you are off the hook. I would like your input. If you think you could make the trip, I would like to know when.

A week of weather...

Mom and Dad came this week and we had so much fun! They came and it was blue sky and as sunny as.. um I don't know Arizona? Then it was cloudy and rainy, and then it snowed. So they got all kinds of weather!! We went to the Seattle Aquarium, to the beach, rides on the quad, walks on the trail, played Nancy's Wii, and just had fun! Thanks for a fun week! The kids are counting down till we are going to visit Arizona, and we don't even know when we're coming yet! :)

Have you ever bruised your ear????

Kolton has! He was washing his hands on the bathroom counter when he slipped and hit his ear on the toilet. Ouch!!! We have never seen a bruise like this! It was pretty nasty!

Uh-Huh...

Well, not only did James and I eat grasshoppers, we ate nasty-stale-however-old grasshoppers. James ate 9 (One an then went back for 8 more at once) and I could only handle UNO. I only gagged once, but I held it down! I think we won. (Wait, it was a competition wasn't it?)

A Happy 8 Years Together...

Todd and I celebrated our 8th anniversary last weekend. We left the kids with Todd's parents and we went overnight to stay in his parents cabin in Cle Elum. We had so much fun. It was an awesome nights sleep, you know the kind where no one wakes you up and you just sleep until you wake up, it was great. And we had a blast playing in the snow. We towed each other behind the quads, etc..I didn't cook any meals or clean up anything, so life was good. We drove back into town and went straight to the Temple, where we did sealings. It was so cool to remember the words of our sealing and to put into focus the important things. Looking forward to our 9th...

This takes me back.....

This week, I signed Sadie up for dance class....can you guess which one?? Sunshine Generation, LOL!!! It is kind of far away from us, but she has wanted to take dance for a while, and this is the most affordable option. It brings back some memories....the colors are still yellow and orange. It is taught by a lady who holds class in her garage....just like when we were kids, and many of the kids in the classes are from her ward....just like when we were kids. Should be fun for Sadie, she can't stop talking about it, so I guess she likes it. here are some pics from her first day. We'll be sure to post when/where she will be performing.

These are just a couple of pics of Sadie and Jon at the park yesterday riding bikes. Thier bikes have had flat tires for a long time....I finally fixed them this week, and now we go to the park or on a ride/walk with the dog just about every day. I think Jon could ride for 6 hours straight and never get tired of it.

Lenard's 11th birthday is coming up in 10 days!! He has been invited to join the 11 year old scouts a couple days early. The 25-26th is a stake overnight scout campout on the Mormon Batallion trail. They said that since his birthday is the next day, he can come. He is really looking forward to that.

I put in my transfer Today!

I'm on my way back to warm and loving AZ very soon. I HOPE! Donald said that if I don't get transfered by his Birthday then I should quit. Yes, QUIT! I think I'm to stuborn to quit. But we'll see. I have until Febuary 28th I guess.

As far as the Wedding details? Still no date. I just realized I have to plan around the school schedules of the school Donalds younger siblings go to in the middle east. Hmmm.... I don't know how that's going to work but I'm sure it will.

Determination pays off...

Sometimes determination pays off even when it comes with a little frustration. Tallie loves to play in the snow, but she doesn't really love mittens. And for a 1 year old, once you have mittens on it can be really hard to get them off. When we get out in the snow, here is how it goes for Tallie...

Gentlemen, Start Your Engines!!!....Pinewood Derby...

This morning, we had Pinewood Derby. It was Jon's first, and Lenard's last. Lenard had a truck called the Silver Streak! Jonny, had a slick looking car called the Yellow Hornet. Both boys did AWESOME!! Lenard came in 1st place every race he ran! Jon came in 1st or 2nd every race he ran. Grandma and Grandpa came to help us cheer on the boys, too. Here are some pictures from the race

Whats the secret to keeping New Year Resolutions?

What are your ideas for how to keep the goals you set at New Years? Just wondering if anyone has any good ideas. We don't usually have a problem coming up with things we would like to do - but the follow through doesn't always happen!

Some of the kids goals that they set:

Kaden: Go bike riding more often

Bryton: Learn about space

Kolton: Climb a rock wall to the top

Brody: Learn more about elephants

The kids are soo excited about what they set. They remind me almost everyday of their goals as well as mine... so that helps. Thats my one idea is to have someone remind you. My kids ask me everyday," Have you done your pilates yet Mom?" What ideas do you guys have?

Something old but new up here.

I just had to do something to get rid of my naked self.

This was just a fun and tiring trip to six flags. I woke up at 4:30 AM to go to work that day went to work came home did home work then we left and drove all night without sleeping to six flags. We played all day at six flags and drove all night home. I have never been more tired in my whole life. Next time we will just get a hotel.

This is a picture from one year ago when I was skinny this is my goal for my aniversary to be this skinny. P.S. Notice the caveman brow that was still there from my wreck at the dunes.
