We were invited over to our friends house for a party, but we still have sick kids, so we decided to have a fun party - just us! We knew the kids would never make it to midnight - so we counted down to 7pm. We played games, ate finger foods, and then did some fireworks. The boys' favorite was the fireworks. Then we came inside and we all had rootbeer floats and the kids banged on metal pans for some really crazy noisemakers! While they were banging we were yelling, "Happy New Year, Happy New Year!" Then they stopped banging for a second and Brody was still chanting by himself, "Happy Rootbeer!" We all died laughing it was soo cute! Then Tallie went to sleep and the boys stayed up late for some more games. They went to bed at about 9:30pm. Todd and I stayed up just long enough to see the clock turn 12:00 and we went to bed! (Are we that old?) We missed everyone and hope everyone had a great time wherever you are!

Hey, we had rootbeer floats too!!! So, HAPPY ROOTBEER right back attcha Brody!! Love the video of the sparklers...we wish we could do some fireworks too, they look like fun!

Happy new year to you guys. Sure do miss ya. YOu shold have seen teh HUGE sparklers they had in Mexico. They were about 2 feet long.
