More From Oaxaca

We loved the temple. We didn't get to a session (maybe next time :) ) It was also so cool to attend Sacrament meeting and meet so many of the people who Rob knew on his mission.
They are awesome people.

Then we went to Mitla. They built these buildings with no mortar. That is why they have withstood the earthquakes for so many years. Most of these designs are laid in like puzzle pieces, not carved.

This was on the rooftop of our hotel on New Years Eve just before midnight. There were lots of church bells and firecrackers and a live band in the square. If you can't see it, Lois is about ready to eat a grasshopper. They are a delicay in Oaxaca and the locals say if you come there and don't eat them you won't come back but if you do eat them then you will return to Oaxaca. We'll see about that.
