I know it's a little late to post this but I figured better late than never.
When Mom came to see me in Boston we had so much fun. We went to the Aquarium one morning. And they had so many cool things there. There was this huge sea life tank that was a big tubular thing that went up 3 stories. In it was sharks, sea turtles, morray eels, sting rays, stonefish, barracudas, and so many other kinds of fish! When mom and I were on the bottom floor of the tank we saw a little sea turtle laying at the bottom on the rocks. We watched it for a long time and it didn't move. We kept checking on it to see if it had moved in about 2 hours and it hadn't. So we thought it was dead and we should probably tell somebody. So we went up to the top to watch the divers feed the fish. And YES the divers get in the tank with the sharks and eels and everything. They said the sharks don't eat the other fish or the divers because the feed them so often that they are never hungry. (they feed them fish and squid on a stick) So anyway, I asked the guy if the little turtle was okay and he said he was taking a nap, and the reason why he didn't move very much was that they had rescued him from icy water and he had frost bitten front legs and it was hard for him to swim now. We didn't believe him. But when they got the lettuce out to feed the turtles, sure enough, he came swimming up using only his back legs. What a fun day.
These are just a few pictures I took of weird creatures and a funny Fur Seal.

Can you see the Dragon fish? I thought this was so cool looking.
Did you know Boy Fur Seals can get upto 400 lbs. But Girl Fur Seals only get to be 150 lbs?

I wanna go there!! That looks and sound so fun! Maybe next time ;)
It really was a fun day. And we really thought the little turtle was dead. We were so glad when he really wasn't!!
I love the Dragon fish! We love our aquarium too, but the sharks are little... the kids would love to see the big sharks! You should come try our aquarium now! :)
At OUR aquarium (at the zoo) you get to pet the sharks...come try THAT!!! I bet it was fun to go with just "big kids" and spend lots of time at one thing before moving on. We surely wouldn't have noticed a turtle that hadn't moved for hours with our rowdy crew!
A big kids trip WAS fun! You guys should all ditch your kids and go do something fun. Ha ha. I'll baby sit.
