We were missing grandpa at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway today. We went to view the practice session for the Brickyard 400 that is tomorrow. Steven LOVED every second of it. Thank goodness for the ear plugs..."ear bugs" as Steven called them. It was REALLY loud.

Steven looks like he is getting blonder! And his eyes are gorgeous! He is just a cutie! They look like they had so much fun! Yes, I am sure Dad was wishing he was there.
Dad said, "Why didn't they call me and tell me? I would have flown out!" I (Lois) was at girls camp so he totally could have come. Not sure he really would have though. ;) Anyway, good times.
Sorry, Dad! We kind of did it as a last minute thing. We were thinking about you the whole time and wishing we would have called you! But we have applied for tickets for the Indy 500 next year (we included Dean and Chad, too, if you want to come), so if we get them...you will definitely have to come for that! I am not sure when we will know if we got the tickets, or not, but we will let you know!
