More adventures from Mexico

Car ride up, Heather got to go with us. Heather read this really boring book to us on the way up. ha ha. we had a good time making fun of it.
We went to Rosarito Mexico for a Curtis family gathering. We had a great time hanging with the family, being on the beach, and exploring Rosarito. We were only there for a few days but the weather was so nice and my favorite part is I could always hear the beach. We got a little lost on the way there but we finally found where we needed to be. We stayed in this nice gated community of condos right on the beach. They were so nice, Aunt Karen found 3 of them for all the families to share.
Everyone had fun body boarding and being on the beach. I just stayed on the beach but rob had a good time being in the water, He would come out of the water beat up and scraped up but he kept going back for more. We went shopping a few times for some goodies, everytime anyone went into town Rob had to go so he could bargain or keep everyone feeling safe. :) My family had never been to Mexico and was a little nervous about it all, it was a little funny actually. Rob, Heather and I went to a bakery (the bakery's in mexico are amazing, they have tons of sweet breads and cookies, their bakery's have about as many varietys of breads as we have candy in a candy shop.) We brought back some bread and cookies for everyone to try and we kept hearing "if I eat this... will I DIE?" anytime we would bring food to Bradon he would ask that. Ha. "Yes, we are bringing food that will make you DIE!" :) we went to some excellent taco stands.
The best story of the week I didn't actually get to be a part of. :( but it is a good story. My dad, Zac, Heather and Rob go in to town to get some stuff and shop a little bit. They park in front of this Bar/Restaurant and the people that work at the bar are trying to get them to come in and get some food and drinks, well they go off shopping and decide since they parked in front of this place they will buy a few tacos and get a soda when they go back. well they go in and sit down and all of the sudden this guy comes in and puts a towel on Zac's shoulders, Zac looks down at the towel to see what was put there and as he puts his head down the guy behind him grabs his forehead and throws his head back (during this ,the guy is also blowing this whistle and being crazy) so Zac has his head back and the guy is above him with this bottle of liquor that he is trying to dump down Zacs throat. Zac is like " Whoa, whoa, whoa" moving his head around dodging the alcohol. everytime he opens his mouth to say "whoa" this guys is trying to dump it in his mouth. Rob is trying to save him, he is telling the guy in spanish, hey, he doesn't drink he doesn't drink. He is still blowing his crazy whistle, he runs to rob and puts the towel on his shoulders, Same scenario! ha ha. well they came back to the condo to tell us this but first rob runs in to the condo screaming NACHO!!! I'm laying on the couch, ya know, dying of morning sickness, rob runs in with his shirt tied around his neck and a Nacho Libre mask on that dad bought in town. (this was just taken but you get the picture)Then they tell us their crazy story, we were all dying of laughter. Zac and Rob tell the story excellent. good times! we took pictures on the beach (rob's least favorite part) when I get those from mom I will post some. We found some fun stuff in mexico, Rob got some fake sunglasses and I got a Fabulous seashell wind chime that I love for 8 bucks.

We can't wait for our Daly family gathering so we can add some more crazy-fun stories. We love you guys.
